Rep.James Comer, R-Ky., indicated on Thursday that he has been in contact Sen.Mitch McConnell’s, R-Ky., staff, who have indicated that the aim is for the lawmaker to return to the Senate later this month.

“I expect that.I sure hope so,” Comer said after being asked if McConnell was expected to join his Senate colleagues on Sept.14.
