Where Is the 2026 INDYCAR Race at Markham?
The race takes place on the new Streets of Markham circuit in downtown Markham, Ontario.Markham is located north of Toronto and becomes the new home of INDYCAR’s annual Ontario event in 2026.
The temporary street circuit is 2.19 miles long and features 12 turns, a double-sided pit lane, fast straightaways and technical sections.The inaugural race is scheduled for 90 laps and 197.1 miles.
Is This the First INDYCAR Race at Markham?
Yes.The 2026 Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham is the first INDYCAR race held on the Streets of Markham.The event continues the series’ long-running Ontario tradition after 39 races at Exhibition Place in Toronto.
Pato O’Ward won the final race on the Toronto street circuit in 2025.Because the Markham layout is new, there is no defending winner at this track.
